There is no trash. Just resources.
Indonesia as a developing country with more than 265 million citizens has unlimited potential. More, increasing of plastics waste recycling has become political priority. What are the risks and opportunities for recycling companies?
CEO of PRI RecyPlastico a.s. Petr Zámečník attended the mission of the Ministry of Industry and Trade to Jakarta during the 4th Session of the Joint Economic Committee in Indonesia. The outcome of the mission is above expectations.
Indonesia is the second largest polluter of marine by plastic waste. The reason for this is the underdeveloped waste management of the archipelago, spreading over 17.5 thousand islands. But, like other emerging states, Indonesia is changing. And it creates opportunities for recycling business.
Project of plastics recycling can´t be efficiently made without cooperation with local government. First meeting with representative of the city Manokwari vice-mayor Edi Budoyo was successful. City will be happy to have our project in it´s district and the gates of cooperation are opened.
Have a promising and fulfilling New Year 2019. Petr Zamecnik, project manager
